We are at the 100th episode of Grandangolo, with a dozen videos of the "Inside the News"series, and above all the documentary film "For the Children of Donbas" by Maya Nogradi, our film director, and Luca Belardi, our collaborator. (https://www.byoblu.com/2021/12/01/per-i-bambini-del-donbass/).
The occasion is not ritual. Reviewing these 100 episodes we realize what passed in these two years. We are aware of an intertwining of strategies, which sees on the one hand the actual attack in the form of the pandemic lockdown and, on the other, various military actions, not necessarily all on the battlefield, but in the media field, in political field and in any other field.
We realize the importance of everything that Byoblu the Citizens' TV has done in these two years. If there hadn't been this channel, if it hadn't been possible to enter Italian homes with this news, we wouldn't be at this point. Of course, the moment is very critical, but what we have done, and above all what Byoblu does, is of importance that goes beyond the awareness that the editorial team realizes about what it is doing.
We, therefore, present a sort of reminder of what has happened in these two years through some episodes of Grandangolo, some passages that contrast the strategy of the political-media system: that of the Orwellian "Ministry of Truth" to erase memory. Every fact is connected: this is the meaning of the war reminder that we offer you today.
