Note: There are three Russian MoD reports on the recent developments on the battlefield for the last three days and one MoD statement
1. Russian MoD: Special Military Operation or SMO continues (dated September 10, 2022)
BULLIT POINTS:
The latest figures from the battlefields since September 6 till 10: in the Southern front 4,000 Ukrainians as KIA and 8,000 as WIA,and 2,000 Ukrainians have been reported as KIA in the Ukrainian South.
The Lugansk People’s Republic is under full Russia and Donbass troops control – said the LPR Ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik.
Russia has full supremacy in air power and in heavy weapons over AFU in every region
Russia has substantially reinforced by its troops at the Northern area in Ukraine
High-precision armament of Russian Aerospace Forces has neutralised the headquarters of 5th National Guard Brigade, the provisional bases of the units from 92nd Mechanised Brigade and Kraken nationalist group deployed near Balakleya and Chuguyev (Kharkov region), as well as the command post of 54th Mechanised Brigade deployed near Ray-Aleksandrovka (Donetsk People's Republic).
The attack has resulted in the elimination of up to 300 Ukrainian servicemen and up to 15 units of military equipment.
Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery continue launching attacks at the military facilities in Ukraine.
7 AFU command posts have been neutralised near Rozovka, Ocheretino, Vodyanoye, Novomikhaylovka and Ugledar (Donetsk People's Republic), Snigiryovka and Novonikolayevka (Nikolayev region), as well as 48 artillery units, 178 AFU manpower and military equipment concentration areas.
6 missile, artillery armament and munitions depots have been destroyed near Kurakhovo, Konstantinovka and Seversk (Donetsk People's Republic), Dnepr and Radushnoye (Dnepropetrovsk region), Gulyay Pole (Zaporozhye region).
One radar for detecting and tracking air targets has been destroyed near Kaluga (Nikolayev region).
Within the counter-battery warfare, 2 plattoons of rocket artillery and 5 plattoons of cannon artillery of the AFU have been neutralised near Georgiyevka, Krasnogorovka, Antonovka, Romanovka, Ocheretino, Novgorodskoye and Novosyolovka Pervaya (Donetsk People's Republic).
One U.S.-manufactured 155-mm M-777 howitzer has been destroyed near Novosyolovka Pervaya (Donetsk People's Republic).
Air defence means have shot down 13 unmanned aerial vehicles near Chkalovo and Belyayevka (Kherson region), Krasnoye (Kharkov region), Smeloye, Staromlynovka and Novoukrainskoye (Zaporozhye region), as well as near Novoandreyevka, Valeryanovka, Kirillovka and Panteleymonovka (Donetsk People's Republic).
5 projectiles launched by HIMARS MRLS have been destroyed in air near Novaya Kakhovka (Kherson region).
In total, 293 airplanes and 152 helicopters, 1,916 unmanned aerial vehicles, 374 air defence missile systems, 4,870 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 830 combat vehicles equipped with MLRS, 3,375 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 5,432 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the SMO.
2. Statement by Russian MoD dated September 10:
To achieve the stated goals of the SMO to liberate Donbass, it was decided to regroup the Russian troops stationed in the Balakleya and Izyum areas to increase efforts in the Donetsk direction.
For this purpose, within [last] three days, an operation was conducted to roll back and organize the transfer of the Izyum-Balakleya group of troops to the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic.
In the course of this operation a number of distracting and demonstration activities imitating the real actions of troops, were carried out.
In order to prevent damage to the Russian troops, the enemy was attacked with powerful fire with the use of aviation, missile forces and artillery.
Over [the past] three days, more than two thousand Ukrainian and foreign fighters, as well as more than a hundred units of armored vehicles and artillery pieces were destroyed.
3. Russian MoD: SMO has not been stopped (dated September 9)
The Armed Forces of Ukraine made various unsuccessful attempts to attack, suffered losses and withdrew their forces at Nikolayev-Krivoy Rog direction.
Manpower and military equipment of 46th Airmobile Brigade, 35th Marines' Brigade and 61st Chaser Infantry Brigade have been neutralised near Bezymennoye, Novogrigoryevka (Nikolayev region) and Sukhoy Stavok (Kherson region).
The enemy has lost a total of 3 tanks, 4 infantry combat vehicles and 7 other armoured vehicles, 2 pick-ups with large-calibre machine guns and over 270 servicemen at Nikolayev-Krivoy Rog direction.
High-precision attacks of Russian Aerospace Forces have resulted in the neutralisation of the command posts of Kraken nationalist group deployed near Prishib (Kharkov region) and 93rd Mechanised Brigade near Artyomovsk (Donetsk People's Republic). Over 50 nationalists, as well as 16 units of special military equipment and motor vehicles have been eliminated.
Attacks launched by high-precision ground-based armament at the provisional bases of the units from 127th Territorial Defence Brigade and 14th Mechanised Brigade deployed near Kharkov have resulted in the elimination of over 50 and wounding over 120 Ukrainian servicemen.
Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery continue launching attacks at the military facilities in Ukraine.
8 AFU command posts have been neutralised near Lebyazhye, Chervony Yar, Gusarovka and Liman (Kharkov region), Maryinka and Ray-Aleksandrovka (Donetsk People's Republic), Krivoy Rog (Dnepropetrovsk region), Gulyay Pole (Zaporozhye region), as well as 52 artillery units, 153 AFU manpower and military equipment concentration areas.
Eight AFU missile, artillery and munitions depots have been destroyed near Chuguyev (Kharkov region) and Radushnoye (Dnepropetrovsk region).
One combat vehicle of U.S.-manufactured HIMARS multiple rocket-launching system has been destroyed near Chervony Donets (Kharkov region).
One U.S.-made M-777 howitzer has been destroyed near Rovnopolye (Zaporozhye Region).
Air defence means have shot down 6 unmanned aerial vehicles near Izyum (Kharkov region), Staromlinovka, Kirillovka, Slavnoye and Makeyevka (Donetsk People's Republic), as well as Sladkaya Balka (Zaporozhye region).
18 projectiles launched by HIMARS and Olkha MRLS have been destroyed in air near Novaya Kakhovka and Golaya Pristan (Kherson region), as well as near Kakhovka hydroelectric plant.
In total, 293 airplanes and 152 helicopters, 1,916 unmanned aerial vehicles, 374 air defence missile systems, 4,870 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 827 combat vehicles equipped with MRLS, 3,371 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 5,417 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the SMO.
4. Russian MoD statement (dated September 8)
Due to high losses of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) that formed the basis of the attack group, Ukrainian troops have held no offensive operations at Nikolayev-Krivoy Rog direction. That is in the South of Ukraine.
Russian Aerospace Forces, missile troops and artillery continue launching high-precision attacks at AFU units and reserve forces at the abovementioned direction.
The list of neutralised targets includes the command posts of 63rd Mechanised Brigade of the AFU near Bereznegovatoye (Nikolayev region), the manpower and military equipment of 46 Airmobile, 57th Mechanised Infantry and 28th Mechanised brigades of the AFU near Sukhoy Stavok, Petrovskoye, Plotnitskoye landmark (Kherson region), Murakhovka and Ternoviye Pody (Nikolayev region).
One munitions depot has been destroyed near Murakhovka (Nikolayev region).
Fighter aviation of Russian Aerospace Forces has shot down 1 Su-25 of Ukrainian Air Force near Konstantinovka (Nikolayev region).
Due to high losses caused by concentrated fire attacks of Russian Armed Forces launched at the positions of 59th Mechanised Infantry Brigade of the AFU near Ukrainka, Zelyony Gay and Novogrivoryevka (Nikolayev region), Ukrainian servicemen refused to fulfil combat tasks and commenced withdrawing to the rear areas.
The enemy has lost a total of 2 tanks, 6 infantry combat vehicles and 5 other armoured vehicles, 7 pickups with large-calibre machine guns and over 190 servicemen at Nikolayev-Krivoy Rog direction over the past 24 hours.
High-precision attacks of Russian Aerospace Forces have resulted in the neutralisation of the provisional bases of the units from 95th Air Assault Brigade near Slavyansk and 81st Airmobile Brigade near Kramatorsk (Donetsk People's Republic). Up to 120 Ukrainian servicemen, 15 armoured and motor vehicles have been eliminated.
Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery continue launching attacks at the military facilities in Ukraine.
5 AFU command posts, including those of 72nd Mechanised, 58th and 53rd Mechanised Infantry brigades near Dzerzhinsk, Soledar and Artyomovsk (Donetsk People's Republic), 1st Tank Brigade near Novonikolayevka (Zaporozhye region), as well as 51 artillery units, 167 AFU manpower and military equipment concentration areas.
5 missile, artillery and munitions depots have been destroyed near Trudovoye (Zaporozhye region), Kurakhovo, Konstantinovka, Seversk (Donetsk People's Republic) and Balakleya (Kharkov region).
Moreover, 1 launching ramp of Buk-M1 air defence missile system has been destroyed near Belaya Krinitsa (Nikolayev region), as well as 1 air target detecting and tracking radar near Malomikhaylovka (Dnepropetrovsk region).
Air defence means of Russian Aerospace Forces have shot down 13 unmanned aerial vehicles near Chervonosyolovka, Ocheretovatoye and Aleksandrovka (Zaporozhye region), Vladimirovka, Mandrykino railway station, Kirillovka and Novoandreyevka (Donetsk People's Republic), Lyubimovka, Kreshchenovka, Kirovo and Tomina Balka (Kherson region), Alisovka (Kharkov region), Senkovka (Chernigov region), as well as Tochka-U ballistic missile near Rakovka (Kherson region).
19 MRLS projectiles, including 16 launched by HIMARS, have been intercepted near Novaya Kakhovka, Molodyozhnoye (Kherson region), Novoosinovo, Grushevka (Kharkov region) and 3 rocket-propelled projectiles launched by Olkha MRLS near Antonovka (Kherson region).
In total, 293 airplanes and 152 helicopters, 1,910 unmanned aerial vehicles, 374 air defence missile systems, 4,863 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 826 combat vehicles equipped with MRLS, 3,369 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 5,387 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.
5. Ukraine still attacks ZNPP: the IAEA is silent as before
Kiev regime continues
its provocations aimed at creating a possible technological disaster at Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (NPP).
Six artillery attacks launched at Energodar city have been recordered on September, 9-10. A total of 27 projectiles have been launched from Marganets city located at the opposite shore of Kakhovka Reservoir and controlled by AFU. The attack launched at the power transmission line has resulted in leaving the city without electricity.
Enemy firepower has been neutralised by Russian artillery's counter-attack launched by units located far away from ZNPP.
Authorities of Zaporozhye Region reported on September 11 about the shutdown of the sixth power unit of ZNPP, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Zaporozhye Region’s Main Council of the Administration, said.
“For the last few days, the only operating power unit – the six one – has been operating at minimum capacity. At night, it was shut down at 3:45 a.m. Now it is not generating electricity,” he announced.
That was the result of uninterrupted shelling of ZNPP by Ukrainian troops verified by space-based system of verification, aerial control, counter-battery fire radars and a great number of fragments from Ukrainian and the U.S. artillery ammunition that have been found and collected. Two main places still controlled by Ukrainian troops where from AFU fired at ZNPP have been identified: the cities of Nikopol and Marganets. Three Ukrainian heavily armed groups from these places have made three unsuccessful attempts to capture the plant. One such attempt has been made when the IAEA team was at ZNPP.
On the other hand, Kiev failed to submit any material and electronic (video or photo) evidence of the alleged “attacks of ZNPP made by Russian forces”. Kiev also was not able to find out the areas of such “attacks”. Naturally.
